Of dark chocolates and grades...
J, a P6 student from a very reputable school in the West area, came to me on 25/2 for help. Having scored 78% for his CA1, his mother has very high expectations for his PSLE English grades. During the recent SA1, he scored 84% (hooray!), missing our target of 85% where he would buy a tin of Hersheys dark chocolate as an offering to yours truly. But...sigh. Since then, this has been the butt of jokes between the two of us every lesson. Nonetheless, his mother was glad that he had improved by 8%! But I'm still hoping and praying to savor the marvellous taste of dark chocolates some day...HINT HINT.
composed by J & myself over much laughter

K, another P6 student, has improved by 16.4%!
CA1 : 38.4%
He joined me on the day I had moved into my current place in the second half of February.
His teacher had told him that he may not make it.
BUT in less than 3 months...
SA1 : 54.8%!!!
